No outfits in this post...sorry guys! I just wanted to stop by and apologize for not posting as often as I would like to. I have been so busy with college stuff and senior year things that it has taken away my time to post things! I will, however, be taking my senior pictures next Tuesday and can NOT WAIT to share with you all what I decided I wear and what you all think of how the pictures turn out! I am so excited! Stuff like this makes senior year more and more real and it has been so fun! So many more experiences to come. I know that this sometimes shifts from a fashion blog to a personal blog but oh well!! I like to share the opportunities I have been given and hopefully show younger girls what awesome things they have to look forward to! Thank you all for reading my posts and my random thoughts! You are all so awesome for supporting me in my decision to blog ! You guys rock! Please leave comments and give me feed back on things you would like to see or know! I would love to hear from you all! Thank you again! I hope everyone has an awesome week!!!
This post has a little big of a picture over load but it was such a fun night not to take as many pictures as I could. During our homecoming game the nominees walk as the speaker talks about their involvement and what their plans for the future are. I wore my black prom dress I wore last year. I like the way my dress was different than what people usually wear. It is in pictured but the back of my dress attaches with a big bow. It is sooooo comfortable and we bought it at Dillards on sale! I wore the same earrings I did yesterday and had my hair curled and pinned to one side. I also wore the same heels I wore to the assembly. It was so cool to see all the guy and girls dressed up for this! Everyone was so friendly and sweet that I had such a blast walking and participating along side them!
The last day of the week is always the day the candidates dress up. For this day I actually had two dresses. I don't have a picture in my other dress but it was just a plain black shift dress that I wore with a silver stone necklace and plain black wedges. For the assembly all the ladies changed. I had this high low black dress, with a stoned/beaded neck line, longer tear drop crystal earrings and black strappy heels.
As a senior I've had the home of being nominated for my fall homecoming court! So I am a candidate for homecoming queen with 5 other awesome ladies! The week leading up to the dance is our spirit week and the court has special spirit week with different thems days from the rest of the student body. That was super fan day. As you can see our school colors are white, gold, and black! I had the overalls at home and My super talented mother sewed on letters and designs to make them spirited! Everything sense was 99 cents to 2 dollars at party city! It was so much fun! I'll have a picture from each spirit day plus pictures of the dresses I'llc be wearing! This past Saturday I went with my boyfriend to his homecoming! I wore a black dress that had a short slip underneath with a mesh like skirt over it. My necklace was from versona jewelry store. I did my hair myself after seeing a YouTube tutorial. It was the braid over messy bun tutorial done by Kate with the small things blog. I also really love her messiest of buns video! Please check them out! My makeup was done by all naked products. They are pricey but they are so worth the investment! It was a lot of fun! I have a lot of fun getting dressed up and I'll have another homecoming post for when my homecoming happens! |
